The HALOS Rubber Stamp Mounting System
courtesy of Sheryl Porter (H.A.L.O.S.)

If you have never worked with unmounted rubber dies or have never seen the HALOS™ Rubber Stamp System - you have come to the right place!

There are many reasons why people say HALOS™ is "clearly" the solution to all their rubber stamp problems. As you can see in this photo, with the clarity of the HALOS™ Acrylic Mount all your positioning problems become a thing of the past.
In the next two photos you can see how easy it is to create your own custom stamps by combining several images together on one HALOS™ Acrylic Mount - and then positioning it exactly where you want it (as we have done here with our custom-made border stamp).

Another beauty of the HALOS™ Rubber Stamp System is the storage. It's so easy to store, organize and retrieve all your images - in a fraction of the space of wood mounted stamps. Stamps really stay put in storage when you apply a strip of the HALOS™ Hook Tape to file folders or clear sheet protectors. It's fun to use a binder filled with clear sheet protectors like the one in this picture. You can see how each image is neatly "indexed" on the paper insert next to where the rubber die is stored and categorized - and just look at how many rubber stamps fit on just one page! Another simple organization solution is to use a hanging file folder system.

The 1-2-3 Of It All
The HALOS™ Rubber Stamp Mounting System is so fast and easy to use - you will be stamping up a storm in just minutes! The supplies you need are:

1.Rubber die (anything your heart desires!)

2.HALOS™ Loop Tape (like the soft side of Velcro®)

3.Scissors (RSmakers.org recommends extra sharp and easy to use Kai scissors - originally designed to cut bonsai trees!)

4.HALOS™ Acrylic Mount.

It's as easy as trimming excess edges off the rubber die, peeling the paper backing off of the HALOS™ Loop Tape (which is, of course, self-adhesive) and sticking the two together! You are done with the mounting process! No messy adhesives! Absolutely NO waiting! No additional cushioning! Stick it to the HALOS™ Acrylic Mount and pull it on and off as many times as you like - this stuff is good for 10,000 pulls!! (Now that's a lot of stamping - you better get busy!)

Special Features Exclusive to HALOS™
The specially designed clear HALOS™ Acrylic Mounts have comfort grip edges and recessed grooves on the bottom that hold the HALOS™ Hook Tape (like the hard side of Velcro®), which is what "grabs" your stamp and gives an even and steady impression every time! However if you have been using another temporary mounting system for certain images, just flip the HALOS™ Acrylic Mount over (to the smooth side) and use it as you would any other type of acrylic mount.
Another cool feature about the HALOS Loop Tape is that it not only takes the place of any other adhesive but because it is so "cushiony" it takes the place of any additional cushioning (you will notice that on any "wood mounted" stamp there is a layer of cushion between the wood and the rubber die). The cushioning serves several purposes: it raises the dies up so that the corners of the mount do not pick up ink, and you also get a better and more detailed impression on most images AND the cushion effect also compensates for slight thickness variances in rubber, making it possible to combine different companies' images together on one mount (to make your own custom rubber stamp) and still get a good impression.

H.A.L.O.S. is available from several RSmakers.org including CowTown Stamps, DanDee Images, Evolving Images, Rubber Tree Stamps, Time to Stamp

The clear acrylic mount allows you to stamp accurately.

Combine several stamps to make quick backgrounds or whole scenes!

Organize your UM stamps in a notebook. Save space and easily find the stamp you're looking for.
