How to use the RSmakers.org Community Message Board

**Please note that any ads placed by non- RSmakers.org members will be deleted!**

Each Forum Topic starts a new "thread" of responses. You can wind your way down the thread by clicking on a Topic that is indented under any higher topic. To read any posting, click on the topic and the posting will appear. Click on next message to go to the next posting on this topic. Click on previous message to view the message before the current message. While reading any posting a menu with the following items appears at the top and bottom of the screen...
Forum List - click here to go to the Community "home page" - a list of all forums is listed there.
Go to Top - Takes you to the very beginning of the forum messages.
New Topic - Starts a whole new "thread" - this can be a new question or comment that you would like to get responses to.
Collapse Threads - Will cause all indents to disappear, only main topics will appear. It will be easier to browse for topics you're interested by collapsing threads.
Search - Takes you to a screen where you can enter search "keywords". This will point you to posts that contain the keywords. i.e. if you enter "finishing", all posts with the word “finishing” will appear
If you read a post and want to respond, scroll down the page and:

  1. Enter your name in the first box
  2. Enter your email address in the second box (optional)
  3. Enter the Subject in the next box. This field will default to be the same as the topic's subject unless you change it.
  4. Enter your comments in the large box. You may type in HTML code if you want to provide links, etc.

When done with your message...

  1. Click on "email replies to this thread" box if you want any responses to your message to send an email to the email address you provided above.
  2. Click on "Quote" if you want to include the message you're responding to along with your response.
  3. Click on "Post" to register your comments to the message board. Check your message carefully because you won't be able to remove it once it has been submitted. It will appear immediately on the board.
