Shimmering Star Ornament

A Beautiful ornament that reflects the true meaning of Christmas

Supplies Needed:
  • #98I Original Gift stamp by Stampsations!*
  • Paper Maché Star Ornament
  • Silver Acrylic Paint
  • Silver Embroidery Floss (separated into strands)
  • Turquoise Handmade Paper
  • Embossing Ink Pad
  • Silver Embossing Powder
  • Waltz Beadazzles by Suze Weinberg*
  • Crystal Lacquer*
  • Heat Tool
  • Silver Cord
  • White Glue
  • Double Stick Foam Tape

Directions:

  1. Paint star ornament silver. Let dry. Paint a second coat & let dry.
  2. Coat each point section of the star with Crystal Lacquer & sprinkle on Beadazzles. Set aside to dry.
  3. Using Embossing Ink Pad, stamp Original Gift on turquoise paper & emboss with silver embossing powder.
  4. Wet turquoise paper lightly around embossed image. Carefully tear paper around image. Set aside to dry.
  5. Insert silver cord into top point of star ornament. Put a little white glue around the cord.
  6. Lay 5 strands of embroidery floss across star. Using double stick foam tape, adhere stamped image over the embroidery floss.
