Mary Moyer, aka Merry Mary, has been in business as The Merry Stamper since March, 1998. She started the business by acquiring a small stamp company from Seattle called Joyful Images. She quickly added a variety of images to the 300 existing images. The most popular line has been the Shy Bear line which now includes over 70 different designs.
Mary has been married to her husband, Michael, for over 22 years. Mike runs the cash register at the conventions they attend. They have three kids - two in college and one in grade school. Her stamping passion began when her oldest daughter was about to turn 16 and wanted to make handmade birthday party invitations. Soon after, Mary decided that the mail order business she had been trying to conjure up HAD to be stamping related.
Mary and her family live in Littleton, CO, having been transplanted in June, 2000 from Reading, PA. In addition to running a stamp business, Mary works 30 hours a week as a software technical support specialist. In addition to stamping, Mary enjoys singing in her church choir and reading mysteries.
